This famous monastery, perched two thousand feet up a sheer cliff is one of the most famous spots in Bhutan. It is where Guru Padma Sambhava is reputed to have arrived on the back of a flying tiger to meditate in a cave for a few months before converting the Bhutanese to Bhuddism.
Early morning mists are a feature of the Bhutanese landscape.
